Family Portraits.... Yes, they are important!!

Every year, I photograph so many lovely families!!  I love getting to be the artist that captures that one moment…. you know the one…. the one before your child’s next growth spurt, before their new glasses, before their new haircut, before the lost teeth… I could go on and on, you blink and the moment seems to be gone.  

I have the privilege of photographing this lovely family every year!

I love the world we live in, the technology at our fingertips lets us capture every little moment.  Those snapshots that we share on social media keep us up to date with friends and family that live all over the country/world!!  Now, think about those images that you remember from childhood.  I bet a lot of them still hang on your families walls….. those portraits that you show off to others that come into your home!  Those are the images, that you can reminisce over when you visit Mom and Dad, or when your children grow up and visit you.  Portrait photographers, know that they are creating a piece of art that captures the heart of your family, and a moment you can not get back.  

I love photographing families and their extended family!! 

I, while usually always behind the camera, take the time to come out from behind it to capture my family at least once a year.  I love my two guys, and the dogs and the cat… I love watching my family grow and change through the years.  Remember, you can’t go back in time, so take that moment out of the year and have your family documented by a professional…. even if it isn’t me.
