Introducing Erin

Wedding Assistant and Content Creator

Erin has been assisting with weddings and creating awesome social reels, with Angi’s Art llc, for a little over a year now. She is the best investment back into my business that I have made. If you have been following my socials for the past year, you’ve seen her Wedding Reel creations and the Behind the Scene reels that she has documented. Plus, while creating social reels, she is also keeping me on track the whole wedding which is a feat in itself. :)

Erin is a recent graduate of Kansas University with a BFA in design with a concentration in photography and a minor in journalism. Besides hanging out with me at weddings on the weekends, Erin also keeps herself busy with her own photography projects. She is currently helping the Midwest Genealogy Center with with photography for the Founding Project. “The goal of the project is to explore through photography, video, and oral histories the memories and celebrations of the founding of our nation, towns, communities, neighborhoods, and businesses.”

Erin became interested in photography, when she took a black & white film photography class at Johnson County Community College. Erin was fascinated by their first project with a pin-hole camera, that they made by punching a hole in a paint can with a thumbtack. She loved the whole process of loading photo paper into the can in the darkroom, then took the closed paint can outside, and exposed the paper through the pin-hole. This process, up until this point, left her skeptical. However, after bringing it the into the dark room she watched as the picture came to life in the developer like magic. Erin still loves film to this day and has a love for bringing ideas to life through photographs. That’s the magic for her….. the idea becoming something beautiful.

Erin approaches content creation (social reels) the same way as her photography. She doesn’t follow the social media trends. Instead she has an eye for capturing those special moments. She is able to create a little magic, capturing a couple's little touches and laughs, the comfort and love shown in their eyes that truly make the reels as beautiful and timeless as their love is. The timelessness is why I love content creations.
